AMV files have been developed based on the AVI container. These devices often come with extra software which lets AMV files to be played and opened on a computer too. These videos can have a resolution in the range of 94圆4 to 160x120, which ideally fits the screens of the target devices. AMV files are compressed files of a normally very low resolution. It is assumed widely that MTV was the brain behind the development of the file format.
These video files are enhanced for the media players.
They are normally used by portable media playing devices belonging from China.
The AMV file extension refers to the Anime Music Video files.
